How to (Actually) Prevent Hair Loss

Prevent-Hair-Loss

Losing a few hairs every day is a normal physiological phenomenon, o f the thousands of hairs we have on our heads, more than one in ten come daily to dislodge hair that has reached the end of its life, to grow in its place.

The phenomenon becomes pathological when the hair that falls out is poorly replaced by less and less regrowth or is no longer replaced at all.

Hair is the capital of beauty and seduction, so when it falls out in large quantities it is quite normal that it triggers great distress!

However, there are solutions to attenuate and slow down hair loss and above all to stimulate regrowth! So how to do it?

Hair loss (apart from chemotherapy treatment that can cause hair loss) is completely normal since we all lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, some a little more depending on hair type, age, season, or heredity.

Hair grows 1 mm every 3 days, which corresponds to about 12 to 15 cm per year.

The phases of growth are from 3 to 6 years and the resting phase of 3 weeks during which the hair dies and its phase of loss will extend over 3 months.

Autumn is a season known to be a good time for hair loss due to hormonal changes in response to light, but periods of stress or hormonal disturbances such as pregnancy or menopause can cause hair loss in women.

In case of hair loss after pregnancy, don't worry, as women regain their full capillary capital within a year after the birth of their baby.

Therefore, if it is normal to lose a few hairs a day, it will be necessary to consult your doctor:

- if the loss is more than 200 hairs a day.

- if it drags on because it may be related to an underlying medical problem.

- or in the case of pathological hair loss called alopecia.

This alopecia or baldness in men is most often due to an excess of male hormones, this excess can be hereditary but there are many other factors not always known that also come into play.

Objective: stronger, thicker, denser hair! So how can we prevent hair loss and promote hair regrowth and growth?

Anti-hair loss treatments

Anti-hair-loss-treatments

* Local care for hair loss

In the case of beginner or seasonal hair loss, local care can be provided with gentle stimulating shampoos and anti-hair loss lotions.

These products usually contain:

- plant extracts such as quinine, known for its strengthening of the hair structure.

- B-group vitamins to fortify the hair.

- minerals.

- other molecules such as aminexil, patented for its anti-fall effect.

- or stemoxydine (NEOGENIC®, VICHY) which awakens dormant hair bulbs.

It is advisable to space out the shampoos as much as possible so as not to attack the hair with a maximum of 3 to 4 shampoos per week.

If the hair is greasy or prone to dandruff, it is advisable to use an appropriate treatment for each problem in addition to the shampoo and/or anti-hair loss lotion.

Between two treatment treatments, favor an extra-gentle shampoo. Do not use baby shampoo, they are not suitable for adults (even if they smell very good!).

Anti-hair loss food supplements

Hair loss is also linked to deficiencies in zinc, magnesium, calcium, B-group vitamins, or iron.

Hair is also a very good indicator of these deficiencies, especially mineral deficiencies.

Also, hair dietary supplements are one of the first reflexes to have during a hair loss since they allow with a treatment of at least 3 months (it is the obligatory condition!) to improve the appearance of the hair and to revitalize the hair cycle.

These food supplements improve capillary microcirculation and reduce inflammation at the bulbar level that precedes hair loss.

They provide vitamins from the B group: B6, B8, Zinc, sulfur amino acids which are necessary for the synthesis of keratin and hair growth.

Some food supplements are also Sebo-regulators and can, therefore, reduce excess sebum production which can be the cause of hair loss. In these Sebo-regulating supplements, we will find mainly Zinc and pumpkin seed oil for example.

The presence of Taurine is important in these dietary supplements because it helps fight against free radicals, responsible for premature aging of the hair bulb.

Without forgetting brewer's yeast, which has an ancestral fortifying action on the hair.

These food supplements, therefore, improve the overall quality of the hair: a thicker diameter, shine, and enhanced tone.

Get Rid of Back Pain with Ayurvedic Treatment for Spine Problems

If you are suffering from neck pain then it is advisable to opt for Ayurvedic neck pain treatment in Nagpur or elsewhere. Spinal ailments are treated in Ayurveda with the help of the ancient system of Meruvajreekaranam. According to Ayurveda the spinal problems are caused due to the imbalance of the vital forces of the body.

If you opt for allopathic treatment for spinal problems, then you most probably will end up getting a surgery done. However, in Ayurveda there is a non invasive treatment of the spine with the help of panchkarma and other methods. Even yogic exercises are prescribed to correct the spinal problems. The best part is that Ayurveda treats the patient as a whole, in mind and body, instead of isolating the part of the body with the problem.

What is Slipped Disc

Slipped disc is the most common back and spine related problem. Here it is necessary to know that there are 26 vertebrae which have an outer dry and thick portion and the insides are soft and gelatinous. The inner portion of the vertebrae sometimes herniates due to weakness or injury this is known as slipped disc. The slipped disc may also compress a nerve which emerges from the spine which causes excruciating pain and numbness.

Treatments for Back Problems

Ayurvedic treatment for spine problems includes swedana, vasti, kativasti, meruchikitsa, lepan, and agnikarma. Along with this the Ayurvedic doctor will prescribe herbal and mineral medicines which do not have any harmful side effects.

Ayurveda restores the balance of the bodily energies and hence cures the spinal problems. The above mentioned treatments help in restoring the energies of the body and maintain the harmony of the body.

The best part of Ayurveda is that:

  • It is safe and works effectively for all age groups of people
  • It helps in the proper functioning of the body and mind

  • It aims at curing the root cause of the problem instead of superficial treatment.

  • No surgery is involved in the treatment of the spine problems

Ayurvedic treatment of slipped disc is done by administering herbal decoctions, capsules, tablets, for oral treatment and oils etc. for topical and external application. These treatments are effective for people who have mild to moderate problems in the spine. People who have more severe problems will require intensive treatment like abhyanga along with the treatments mentioned above.

These treatments remove the toxins from the body and also cause the herniated disc to slip back into its original position.

How to Look for a Good Hospital Providing Back Pain Treatment

If you are looking for a good hospital providing back pain treatment in Nagpur then it is best to search online. The good hospitals have a strong internet presence with their own websites.

They also have a strong presence on the social media.

  • The first thing to do is search on your favorite search engine for the best Ayurvedic hospitals. Then study as many websites as you can and short list 3-4 of them. The next step is to contact the hospitals by phone and discuss your problem with them. Their response will give you a complete understanding of the quality of treatment that they provide.

  • At the same time, it is also advisable to visit the hospital to check the infrastructure and the attitude of the staff. Most good hospitals have a good infrastructure and their staff right from the spine specialist in Nagpur to the cleaning staff has a very empathetic and positive attitude towards the patients.

Once you have done this basic research it will be a good idea to read some reviews and testimonials of the patients who have taken treatment from these hospitals earlier. In this manner you will be able to single out a hospital where you want to get spine treatment.

Diabetes is an illness characterized by the inability of the body to generate or make use of insulin, a hormone secreted by the pancreas. Top 7 Paralysis Ayurvedic Treatments

The inability to move your limbs or speak is called paralysis and this inability is usually temporary if treated with Ayurveda. The cause of paralysis is a problem with the nervous system which gets affected due to stroke, or damage to the nervous system due to an injury or any other reason.

It is also caused due to an autoimmune disorder, toxins, tumors and trauma to the spinal cord. With some type of paralysis it is possible to recover because the recovery depends on the causes and extent of injury that caused it.

Ayurveda is a holistic system of treatment which is quite effective in the treatment of paralysis. There are almost no side effects of Ayurvedic treatments and this treatment is suitable for both children and adults. This system does not work only on the physical level but is also effective in enhancing the mental and spiritual well being.

Let us look at some natural methods that can prove to be the best Ayurvedic treatment for paralysis:

1. Diet for Pacifying the Vata Dosha: It is well established by Ayurveda that paralysis is caused due to the aggravation of the vata dosha of the body. This is the reason that with the help of a vata pacifying diet you can help in treating the problem. You should eat light meals which are easy to digest and you should pick warm foods instead of cold foods. Do not take rye barley and millet and instead include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. The vegetables like asparagus, okra, beet and carrots are very good for pacifying the vata dosha. You should also avoid taking bitter or pungent flavored foods. Instead you should eat food that is salty, sweet or sour. These foods balance the vata dosha of the body.

2. Medication: The Ayurvedic medicines that are used for the treatment of vata dosha aggravation causing paralysis include rasnadiquath, medicated castor oil, pippalimula, chopcheenichurna, ashwagandhachurna etc. drinking 20 to 40 ml of radish oil twice a day and a mixture of black pepper powder, honey and sunthi is also beneficial in treating paralysis.

3.   External treatments also play an important part in the treatment of paralysis. Let us look at these treatments. However, before these treatments are administered, you need to ensure that the patient does not have heart related problems or any kaphadosha aggravation.

4. Sarvangadhara Treatment: This treatment is done by applying small bundles of herbs which have been heated by steam on the aching parts of the body. These medicines in the bundles seep into the skin and tissue and have a therapeutic effect on them. They are tied in cotton bags and the cotton cloth allows the medicines to seep through and make contact with the body.

5. Nasya Treatment: While medicines are administered orally some of the medicines are administered in the form or nasal applications. This method of treatment is called nasya and is very effective in balancing the vatadosha in the respiratory tract. It also removes the toxins from this path thus purifying the body which in turn has a beneficial effect for patients with paralysis.

6. Basti Treatment: This is a medicated enema treatment which removes the toxins in the lower digestive tract. This treatment should be administered by experts and you should not attempt it by yourself. In fact in any system of medicine there should never be an attempt at self medication.

7.  Anulomaviloma: This is a yoga breathing exercise which pacifies the vata dosha of the body. This again should be learned from a qualified yoga practitioner who understands the effect of the treatment on the body. This exercise involves breathing from one nostril and breathing out from the other. This way breathing is done by alternate nostrils.

All in all Ayurveda as a science has cure for many ailments considered to be incurable by allopathic system of medicine. However, paralysis treatment in Ayurveda can take a lot of time and hence you should be patient with it.

Know the Best Ayurvedic Treatment for Spine Problems

Spinal problems can mar the lifestyle of the patient. Most spinal problems are treatable with the help of the Ayurvedic system of medicine. Whether you looking for Ayurvedic treatment for slip discbackache or any other spinal problems Ayurveda does provide a solution to all.

As you may know that Ayurveda is not just about herbal medicine, but is a holistic system which incorporates changes in lifestyle and diet and also includes yoga exercise in your regime. The problems in the spine are caused by the aggravation of the Vata Dosha and Ayurveda treats this cause and provides solutions that reduce the Vata Dosha. Here are the top 7 natural cures for all sorts of spine diseases:

  1. Stay Warm: One of the chief attributes of Vata Dosha is that it is cold. This is the reason that you should not expose your back to cold. During cold weather, you should protect your back as much as you can. Warmth will reduce the pain and the underlying problem in the spine which is caused by the aggravation of the Vata Dosha.

  2. Avoid pungent spices: If you eat too many red chilies and wasabi along with other extremely pungent spices in your food, it can have a drying effect on the body. Dryness is also an attribute of the Vata Dosha and if the body becomes dry then the back spinal problem will increase. Apart from back-related problems it also causes constipation. This is the reason that people with spinal problems should avoid pungent spices.

  3. Eat warm foods: If you consume cold foods then it aggravates the Vata Dosha, causing more problems for the already aggravated dosha in the body. Coldness creates congestion and constriction in the body. On the other hand, heat provides expansion and the channels in the body that carry the stools will remain open and you will be able to eliminate the toxins properly. This, in turn, will reduce the occurrence of back problems. Eating warm foods will also reduce the Vata Dosha and this way gives you relief from back problems.

  4. Practice Padhastasana: Padhastasana is a standing forward fold posture of yoga. This posture is great for spine-related problems because it allows the Vata Dosha to flow properly through the body. It also eliminates the constriction in the channels that carry stools and hence relieves the pain in the back and constipation both. If the pain in your back is not due to muscular causes then this yoga posture is a great remedy for the back problem. When the Vata Dosha becomes balanced by this posture the spinal problems automatically become less.

  5. Use oil on the body: Just like all other health problems, spinal problems also increase with stress. This is the reason that warm oil massage of the body will relieve tension and also the problem in the back. Stress, depletion, exertion, and tiredness all increase the Vata Dosha and too much accumulated Vata Dosha leads to early aging. It will also cause pain in various parts of the body. If you oil your body with warm sesame oil before bathing then it will ward off aging and reduce the pain in your back.

  6. Consume Bishop’s weed seed tea: Ajwain is called bishops’ weed seed and it can be found in all Indian stores and many health food stores. This herb is very good in relieving pain and can be taken by anyone who does not have problems related to heat. Ajwain is hot in its attributes and hence reduces the cold reducing Vata Dosha as a result. This is the reason that this herb causes a lot of relief for people suffering from spine related problems. Many people claim that it provides instant relief from pain.
  7. Practice Anulom Vilom: This is a yoga breathing exercise in which you need to take air in from one nostril and take it out through the other nostril. This exercise is very effective in balancing Vata Dosha. It is very beneficial for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and others which are related to Vata Dosha aggravation.

Get Best Results with Ayurvedic Treatment for Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is known as Amavata in Ayurveda and it is an autoimmune disease. This ailment affects the joints and causes inflammation in them. It can spread to the tissue around the joints along with other body organs. In autoimmune ailments, the body’s immune system itself starts attacking tissues mistakenly. The immune system creates antibodies that target the body tissues and cause inflammation in them.

This is a systemic ailment because it affects multiple organs and parts of the body. This disease is painful and this is the reason that arthritis treatment in Nagpur or elsewhere becomes necessary. At the same time, if the disease affects the vital organs of the body then it can also prove to be fatal.

Allopathic system of medicine does not have any cure for arthritis, but with the help of Ayurveda, you can get rid of the disease. According to Ayurveda, this ailment is the result of a Vata imbalance in the body and Ayurvedic treatment for arthritis focuses on balancing the Vata dosha to get rid of the pain and inflammation completely.

The symptoms of arthritis are:

  • Swelling in the joints

  • Excessive thirst

  • Lethargy

  • Indigestion

  • Heaviness

  • Pain and stiffness in the body

  • Lack of appetite

  • Pain and stiffness in the joints of the hand

If you see these symptoms in yourself then you should immediately take the help of an arthritis treatment center in Nagpur India or elsewhere. This ailment as mentioned above is known as Amavata because when the Vata dosha becomes aggravated the body produces ama or toxins. Ayurvedic arthritis treatment focuses on removing this ama or toxins from the body.

Most of you may know about panchakarma therapy and its usefulness in treating many ailments. It is also very beneficial in the treatment of arthritis. Panchkarma means five actions. But sometimes a combination of more than five treatment methods may be used to treat chronic ailments like arthritis at an arthritis treatment center.

The five treatments of Panchakarma are:

  • Vamana – Induced vomiting with the help of herbal medicines

  • Virechana – This is a purgative therapy again with the help of herbal medicine

  • Snehana – This is a massage with herb-infused oils and along with Snehana a Swedana or steaming treatment can also be included to remove the toxins from the body through the sweat.

  • Nasya – This is a treatment in which the medicines are administered through the nose

  • Vasthi – This is an herbal enema, using herbal oils and other decoctions.

Panchkarma is certainly the best cure for arthritis but then there are herbal remedies and Ayurvedic medicines that work wonders as a cure for arthritis. Some of the known herbs that are known to reduce inflammation of the affected area and ease pain are:

  • Boswellia

  • Turmeric

  • Ashwagandha

  • Ginger

  • Triphala

  • Guggulu

  • Shatavari

Ayurveda also states that if you consume heavy indigestible food, eat at the wrong time, excessive intake of dairy products especially yogurt, consuming meat and fish, your Vata dosha will get aggravated. At the same time, a sedentary life without much physical activity or exercising immediately after heavy foods are the lifestyle choices that cause arthritis.

This is the reason that Ayurveda recommends a change in lifestyle and dietary habits. Following the narration, you are sure to get rid of arthritis.

Lower back pain is a very common pain disorder and it occurs more for the age group of 45 to 64 years. In Ayurveda, this kind of pain is known as Kati graham or Prishtasula. The patient may suffer from chronic and persistent pain which could be a dull ache to a severe or a burning sensation and a sharp stab like pain which is felt in the lower back.

Along with pain, there may also be stiffness and loss of mobility, numbness or tingling sensation with pain that travels down the buttocks to the back of thighs and also the legs and feet. Ayurvedic treatment of spine problems is a holistic method that removes the root cause of the back pain. Let us look at how this lower back pain affects the patient’s life.

Effects of Lower Back Pain

This lower back pain can disrupt your daily life because it gets aggravated by moving, lifting objects, or twisting the back. With this kind of pain, your activities get restricted in a major way and case of slip disc there can be severe pain. This is the reason that if you suffer from lower back pain then you should opt for back pain treatment in Nagpur or elsewhere.

Causes of Lower Back Pain

One of the common causes of back pain is the wrong posture habits. With a good posture, the stress on the lower back is reduced which in turn keeps the bones muscles, etc. in their proper position. On the other hand with poor posture habits, these may be misplaced or weakened.

If your posture is such that it changes from the normal curve of the spine it can stress the muscles and due to this the muscles contract leading to pain. A wrong posture being practiced over a long period can cause the spinal vertebrae of the neck or back to dislocate. Neck pain treatment in treatment in Nagpur is available with ayurvedic doctors who specialize in spine problems.

Ayurvedic Perspective of Back and Neck Pain

According to Ayurveda all ailments in the body occur due to vitiation of any of the three main doshas – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Pain in the back, along with other spinal problems and neck pain is caused due to the aggravation of the Vata dosha. Along with Vata aggravation usually, there is also bone and muscle weakness which are known as Asthi Dhatu Kshaya or Mansa Dhatu Kshaya.

An ayurvedic spine specialist in Nagpur will, first of all, bring the Vata dosha into equilibrium with the help of herbal medicines and other external and internal treatments. Once the dosha is pacified it will allow the medication to correct the bone and muscle weakness.

Ayurvedic Treatment of Back and Neck Pain

Ayurvedic treatment of slip disc or other back pain problems involves both external treatments along with herbal medicines which are to be taken orally. The herbal medicines most often used in the treatment of back pain include Yogaraja guggul, Lakshadi guggul, Triphala guggul, Dashmul, Brahmi and Ashwagandha.

Some herbal oils are used for the topical application. At the same time, ayurvedic doctors will prescribe daily purgation to pacify the aggravated dosha. An ayurvedic spine specialist in Nagpur or elsewhere is the right person to consult for the right usage of these herbal medicines and treatments like Abhyanga or Kati Basti.

Abhyanga is a specialized treatment using warm oil application with the use of dams of dough created on the affected part. Then again basti which is a herbal enema removes the toxins which cause the Vata dosha to be aggravated. In Kati Basti medicated oils or ghee and other herbal decoctions are used to induce purgation. On the other hand, the abhyanga treatment is topically applied to bring the Vata dosha into equilibrium.

Infertility Problems – Ayurveda Has All the Answers

If you have a problem of infertility then your choice of the best infertility hospital should begin with Ayurvedic hospitals. Ayurveda takes a holistic approach to treatment and has cured for both male and female infertility. Causes of infertility in women include tubal factors, ovarian factors, uterine problems, age-related factors, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and others.

Infertility in women

The menstrual cycle of a woman can be affected by diet and hence in Ayurveda during the treatment of infertility women are advised to take a diet prescribed by the Ayurvedic doctors. Women also suffer menstrual problems which may cause infertility due to emotional instability, lifestyle, excessive or too little physical exertion, and stress. All these factors go on to cause an imbalance in the doshas. Doshas are considered the most important factors in governing a person’s health according to Ayurveda. This is the reason that ayurvedic treatment of infertility pays a lot of attention to bringing the three doshas in balance. Imbalance in the Vata dosha is considered to be the main problem that causes infertility in men and women.

Infertility in men

Infertility in men is caused by problems that affect sperm production or the transportation of the sperms. Male infertility can be caused by many factors including varicocele, ejaculation problems, infections, hormone imbalance, tumors, defects in the tubes that transport sperm, etc. Along with a problem with the doshas, the abnormal functioning of the body is also due to Agnimandya which means the vitiation of the digestive fire of the body. Hence this is also taken into consideration in the Ayurveda treatment of infertility.

How to find the best ayurvedic hospital for treatment of infertility

The best way to find an ayurvedic hospital for the treatment of infertility is to ask people around you. Make inquiries among your friends, relatives and colleagues. However, infertility is something that you may not wish to discuss with anyone, or it may be that such information is not available in your social circle. In that case you should search the internet, because nowadays even ayurvedic hospitals have a strong internet presence. They have their own website and these websites provide complete information regarding the methods that they implement in the treatment of any health problem.

You should compare the different hospitals in Nagpur which may not be too many. Study the websites of the ayurvedic hospitals in Nagpur and gauge the quality of the information provided by them. The next step is to visit these hospitals and speak to the ayurvedic doctors. You should study the customer centricity, empathy shown towards your problem and the knowledge of the doctor. It is also a good idea to conduct some research on the internet and find out whether the doctor has the right knowledge and has imparted the right information to you. You should also read the reviews and testimonials written by the people who have taken ayurvedic infertility treatment in Nagpur from the hospital in question. You should opt for the hospital which has the maximum positive reviews. At the same time, a good Ayurvedic hospital will have a good reputation in the city and you are quite likely to hear good things about a hospital that stands the test.

Infertility treatment provided by the good hospitals

The first thing that an ayurvedic doctor will ask you to do in case you suffer from infertility, is to customize your diet. Ayurvedic treatment of infertility requires strict adherence to a diet that increases the Ojas and refraining from foods that destroy the Ojas. The Ojas is a factor of the physical, mental and spiritual health of the body which is responsible for overall health, liveliness, and energy. Oja’s building foods include milk, ghee, sesame seeds, nuts, dates, honey, saffron, etc. The doctor will prescribe the diet that you need to take along with prescribing herbal medicine which will rectify the problem of infertility. Many people have taken the help of Ayurveda to treat infertility with success and it can help you as well.
